24/7 Community Mental Health Support for Adults in Crisis
At Freesia Health, we understand that mental health crises can arise suddenly, and not everyone needs or wants hospital admission. Our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment (CRHT) service offers a compassionate, expert-led alternative: intensive mental health care delivered in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
Who We Help
Our CRHT service is available to adults aged 18 and over who are experiencing a mental health crisis, including:
● Severe depression or anxiety
● Suicidal thoughts or self-harming behaviours
● Acute psychosis or bipolar episodes
● Emotional distress following trauma
● Crisis following hospital discharge
● Co-occurring mental illness and substance misuse (where safe to assess)
We provide services to private clients, insurers, and third-party referrers, including GPs, hospitals, and education providers.
How the Service Works
● Available 24/7 across Birmingham and surrounding areas
● Rapid contact within 2 hours of referral
● Initial face-to-face assessment at home or at our clinic
● Ongoing visits from our multidisciplinary team (MDT):
○ Consultant psychiatrists
○ Mental health nurses
○ Support workers
○ Psychologists and therapists (where needed)
● ECG and blood test facilities available
● Medication prescribing and care coordination included

Involving Families & Carers
We value the role of carers and family members in your recovery. With your consent, they can be involved in:

● Ongoing communication and support
We also provide a dedicated carer support leaflet to help them navigate this journey with you.
What the Service Doesn’t Cover
While we provide high-quality, responsive care, the CRHT service is not an emergency service. We do not provide:
● Emergency or ambulance response – please call 999 if someone is at immediate risk
● Services for individuals who are physically aggressive or violent
● Primary substance misuse detox (see our Addiction Service for support)

Freesia Health CRHT Service Packages
Flexible, Tailored Support to Meet Your Needs and Budget
Our home treatment services are designed to be flexible and personalised. After an initial assessment, you can choose from one of our weekly packages based on clinical needs and affordability. Each package can be adjusted after the first week.
Custom Packages (From Week 2 Onwards)
After the first week, we work with you to build a custom care plan that fits your clinical needs and your budget. You’ll be able to reduce frequency or focus care on specific goals, such as medication support, psychological therapy, or relapse prevention.
Payment & Insurance
● Private Payment Plans Available
● We also accept insured patients – please check with your provider if Freesia Health is covered.
● A full breakdown of charges will be provided before treatment begins.
What is Not Included
● Medication collection/delivery (though we offer digital prescribing)
● 24/7 supervised care (our team does not reside in the home)
● Emergency response – please call 999 for emergencies
